City hall receives new defibrillator

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Municipal Building has a new defibrillator for emergency use.

According to a press release from the city, Medic One Ambulance Service of Jonesboro donated the defibrillator Wednesday.

The unit will be located on the first floor to be used if there is an emergency involving any employee or visitor.

Medic One President Ryan Kibler, Education Director Kevin Coffell and Public Affairs Director Chad Kruizenga presented the unit to Mayor Harold Perrin.

"This device can be used for anyone in the public in or near the Municipal Building, and of course, our city employees here at the office," Perrin said. "We appreciate MedicOne and hope to invest in more of these for properties around the city. They save lives."
