LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro teen wanted to get a fresh start in life, but his journey hit a speed bump along the way.

Tommy Moore moved from Jonesboro to Little Rock, by bike.

In an interview with KARK-TV, Moore said things weren't going right in Jonesboro and wanted a better life.

He made the 120-mile trek on his bicycle, sleeping along the interstate at times.

"When my head was down, I reminded myself 'Put your chin up keep on going, keep pedaling'," Moore told KARK.

His fresh start, however, didn't go as planned.

A few days after he arrived in Little Rock, someone stole his best way to travel to work: his bicycle.

Moore wasn't without a set of wheels for long.

NFL Wide Receiver Reggie Swinton soon stepped in.

Swinton and several of his friends bought Moore a new set of wheels.
