PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Paragould police arrested a local nightclub owner for stealing a wedding ring set.

According to the affidavit, police arrested 53-year-old Willis Thomas Hooks for stealing a wedding band set appraised at $44,500.

The victim came to the Paragould Police Department saying someone stole her ring from her home.

The report states a real estate company told police they showed Hooks the home on June 15 where the ring was stolen.

A jewelry store in Jonesboro then told police Willis came into the store to have a ring appraised that matched the victim’s description.

Police arrested Hooks for theft of property.
