BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Baxter County deputies arrested a man Tuesday morning after he reportedly threatened a woman and threw rocks at her car.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, deputies responded to County Road 481 around 11:30 a.m. for a disturbance call.

A woman told deputies 37-year-old Steven Paul Gunn of Springfield was inside her house.

She said Gunn told her that he wrecked his vehicle Monday night somewhere in Missouri before coming to her house.

The woman told him to leave, which made Gunn “become irate,” according to the release.

He reportedly began chasing the woman and threatening her with a rock.

He then threw rocks at her car, breaking both passenger side windows.

He also did some damage to her home. The estimated total damage was about $2,000.

Officers arrested Gunn and took him to the Baxter County Detention Center. He is charged with felonies for residential burglary, aggravated assault, and criminal mischief.

He remains in the detention center in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court June 30.
