Paragould police arrest parolees in Operation Nightsweep

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Paragould police arrested several parolees during "Operation Nightsweep."

Multiple agencies in the city helped in the operation, searching for parole absconders.

Police arrested 47-year-old Sharon Stewart during a probation search.

During the search, police found potpourri in plain sight along with a glass pipe to smoke the substance.

Stewart was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Police arrested 29-year-old Danny Resendez during a search where they found an automatic pistol at his house.

Resendez is a convicted felon and active parolee, according to the affidavit, and is now being held on $150,000 cash only bond.

Police also arrested 25-year-old James Wolfenbarger when they found 4.4 grams of meth inside a pink bandana in his pocket.

He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

Finally, police arrested 34-year-old April Hall on possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Police found three syringes loaded with meth and several other syringes scattered on a bedroom floor in her house.

The affidavit states the syringes were easily accessible to three small children ages 2, 3, and 7.

Hall is being held on a $100,000 bond.
