RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - The Randolph County Sheriff's Department arrested a woman Saturday after rescuing several animals from her home.
According to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble, deputies executed a search warrant in the 2900-block of Highway 115 around 3 p.m. Saturday after a report of animal cruelty.
The sheriff's department was assisted by the Randolph County Humane Society.
The rescued six dogs, four goats and four cats from the home.
The dogs are reported to be in poor condition.
Carrie Barnes, 35, was arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
She is scheduled to appear in court August 10.
