MARKED TREE, AR (KAIT) -

Marked Tree firefighters were busy early Tuesday morning fighting a house fire.

According to Police Chief Jerry Lung, firefighters arrived at the vacant home around 3 a.m. in the 400-block of Broadway.

Lung said when they got there the home was fully engulfed in flames.

The fire is still under investigation, and officials cannot rule out arson.

Lung also said they are leaning towards fireworks being to blame for the start of the fire.

No one was hurt in the blaze.
