Website unveiled to help find missing Arkansans

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Young or old, Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge wants every missing Arkansan reunited with their families and loved ones.

On Wednesday Rutledge, along with Rep. Bill Gossage and Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC) Director Jay Winters, unveiled the Never Forgotten website.

The online searchable database provides photographs and information on all of the state's missing persons cases.

The site features more than 500 cases, with those missing ranging in age from 2 to 99 years.

"Since I became attorney general, I have consistently heard that our state can do a better job of helping the public easily find information about these cases," Rutledge is quoted as saying in a news release. "Now, all Arkansans will be able to assist our law enforcement community by visiting this public website and obtaining information about missing Arkansans."

The website will be updated regularly.

Those with missing loved ones are urged to share as much information as possible, including recent photographs. Local police will provide the updated information to ACIC to include on the website.
