Dinner theatre features Beverly Hillbillies production

Dinner and a show will offer plenty of laughs.

The Imperial Dinner Theatre in Pocahontas presents The Beverly Hillbillies: A Cinderella Story in July.

Shane Cummings, with the Imperial Dinner Theatre, appeared on Region 8 News Midday Thursday.

Cummings said the director of this production has done very well.

“She’s really done a great job of bringing the old TV show and those characters to life on stage,” Cummings said.

The show focuses on Jethro finding a bride and a ball being held to help.

“She brought the Beverly Hillbillies mansion onto a stage,” Cummings said. “You won’t believe it when you see it.” 

The dinner theater is appropriate for all ages.

“We have kids that come from 3-years-old to 83-years-old,” Cummings said.

Showings of The Beverly Hillbillies: A Cinderella Story is scheduled for July 8-10 and 14-17.

Cummings said the Friday, July 8, show is sold out, but for tickets to see the performance on another night call 870-892-0030.

The Imperial Dinner Theatre is located at 1401 Highway 304 East in Pocahontas.
