JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police arrested a woman after they say she "barged into" a man's home and passed out on the floor.
Cindy Marlene Williams, 43, of Jonesboro, is charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, and nonpayment of fines.
The 62-year-old victim told police he heard someone knock on the door of his home in the 500-block of West Matthews around 12:33 a.m. Friday.
He said Williams, who lives in a nearby apartment, "came barging in and then passed out in his floor."
He told police he tried to get her to leave, but she would not wake up.
When Officer Adam Hampton entered the apartment, he reported finding Williams passed out on the floor; she had thrown up on herself.
Hampton attempted to talk to Williams, but her speech was "slurred so bad she was hard to understand."
Williams eventually gave Hampton her name but, according to the report, provided a false birth date. After receiving no return on the information, Hampton asked her again, and she provided an accurate date. It was then he learned she had a warrant for her arrest.
Hampton arrested Williams and took her to the Craighead County Detention Center, but jailers refused to take her due to her intoxication level.
The officer then took Williams to a local hospital to be checked by a doctor. Once at the hospital, Hampton reported she "began cursing a lady who walked by" in the waiting room.
"She began yelling F-this and F-that and cursing me," Hampton reported.
After being told to "keep her mouth closed," Hampton reportedly pulled Williams to her feet.
"She then threw herself down in the floor and refused to get up," Hampton stated. "I had to pick Ms. Williams from the floor and pull her to the back since she refused to walk."
After hospital staff had cleared her, Hampton took Williams back to the CCDC where she was cited and left to await a court appearance.
