CORNING, AR (KAIT) - The City of Corning discussed drainage issues at the last city council meeting.
The issues are along Creason Road where the ditches are filled with stagnate water.
According to neighbors along the road, a drainage project was started several years ago to fix the problem, but was never completed.
Neighbors told Region 8 News the biggest concern is the mosquitoes and snakes around the water.
Some neighbors are also concerned with the possibility of accidents in the deep ditches.
Corning Mayor Rob Young said the council is working on a solution for the ditches.
