WEST PLAINS, MO (KAIT) -

One woman decided to “keep on knitting” after her son-in-law was diagnosed with liver cancer.

Roberta Svuba donated more than 70 knitted “chemo caps” to Ozarks Medical Center’s Cancer Treatment Center in West Plains.

The center gives the hats to its chemotherapy patients.

After her son-in-law had been diagnosed with cancer, Svuba began making the caps for him during his chemo treatments.

She then kept knitting to make the hats available to all the chemo patients at the center.
