LAKE CITY, AR (KAIT) -

A string of burglaries have two law enforcement agencies working together.

Four burglaries have recently taken place in rural Craighead County. Two in Lake City and two just outside the city limits.

The Craighead County Sheriff’s Department is working with the Lake City police department to determine who is behind these crimes and why they're happening.

Captain Justin Rolland with the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department said these incidents have been unusual.

“They would typically, basically, ransack the house go through all the doors and cabinets things like that but wouldn't necessarily take anything,” said Captain Rolland.

Roland said they took a ring from one of the residences.

If you have any information, contact the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department or the Lake City Police Department.
