CLAY COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Clay County sheriff deputies arrested a Piggott man on several charges after evading police during a stop on Thursday.
Deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle in Greenway around 5 p.m. for driving recklessly.
Daniel Hall, 24, of Piggott tried to evade officers but stopped on 1st Street in Greenway.
Deputies arrested Hall for driving on suspended license.
As jailers booked Hall into the Clay County Detention Center, they found a canister full of pills on him and called deputies.
The pills were later identified as Xanax.
Deputies call the Campbell Police Department to ask for their K-9 to perform a check on Hall's motorcycle.
Deputies received a search warrant to search the motorcycle. The search turned up small bags with three grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Hall is being held in the Clay County Detention Center and is charged with driving on suspended driver's license, no proof of liability insurance, fleeing, possession of controlled substance without a prescription, furnishing prohibited articles, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
