Group sets up "Swap Spots" across city

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The city of Jonesboro is implementing a new way for citizens to feel safe while exchanging items sold online.

According to a Facebook post from the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, new exchange zones called Jonesboro Swap Spots are being incorporated.

The first location is at the Jonesboro Police Station at 1001 S. Caraway Road.

The other locations will be at Fire Stations 1, 2, and 3 and at the Justice Complex downtown.

The swap spots will be a safe place to buy or sell things online through various apps, like Craigslist, or Facebook online yard sales.
