JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A children’s classic is taking stage in Jonesboro.

The Fowler Center’s Summer Children’s Theatre presents Charlotte’s Web at the end of July.

Logan Powell plays Homer Zuckerman and Hanna Cummins plays Fern in the production at the Fowler Center on campus of Arkansas State University.

They visited with Diana Davis on Midday Tuesday in full costume.

Cummins said it is a show for children in mind, but adults will enjoy as well.

There are two shows each day on July 27, 28, and 29.

On July 27 and 28, the showings are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The shows on Friday, July 29 are at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5.

While it may be hard to imagine a story set outside in a barn being put on stage, Powell said it is simple.

“We basically brought our barn to the Fowler Center,” Powell said.
