Woman robbed, punched in head

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police are investigating after a woman said she was robbed and attacked.

According to a police report, officers went to the McDonald's on East Main Street Tuesday after an employee said she was robbed.

The employee told police she was walking behind the old Price Chopper building when a man on a bike demanded that she empty her pockets.

The victim refused and that's when she said the suspect began punching her in the forehead.

She said the man took her rent money, which was $375.

Officers found the employee's hat, lip gloss, and reading glasses near the old building.

Police do not have a suspect at this time.
