POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) -

Construction has begun on a new grocery store in Randolph County.

Harp's Grocery Store announced last year that they'd be opening a location in Pocahontas.

They have now broken ground at the corner of Thomasville and Highland.

Last year, the Pocahontas City Council set aside funds to make road improvements to Highland Boulevard in anticipation of the store bringing heavier traffic to the area.
