BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested six people and seized five pounds of methamphetamine worth $150,000 after receiving a tip of drug trafficking.
On Friday, July 15, officers with the Blytheville Police Department's Nuisance Surveillance and Abatement (NSA) street crime unit, served a search warrant Friday, July 15, at a home in the 1600-block of West Walnut.
According to Chief Ross Thompson, the unit received information that drugs were being sold at the home.
NSA officers, along with agents with the Mississippi County Drug Task Force unit, searched the home and found approximately five pounds of suspected meth and a handgun. Thompson estimated the street value of the drugs at $150,000.
Officers also arrested the following people:
- Lisa Herrod, 29, of Blytheville
- Donnie Darty, 49, of Blytheville
- Franchester Hardy, 48, of Gosnell
- Willavonte Westmorland, 22, of Gosnell
- Ashley Triste, 22, of Oklahoma City
- Dylan Laster, 28, of Oklahoma City
All six suspects are charged with trafficking of a controlled substance.
