Police: Jonesboro men arrested for possession of meth

Jonesboro Police arrested two men after finding meth and drug paraphernalia.

According to the incident report, the Jonesboro Police Department's SWAT team, along with the Second Judicial District Drug Task Force, searched an apartment on Griffin Street on Friday. 

Police arrested 60-year-old McKinley Williams and 33-year-old Michael Holt Henson, both of Jonesboro.

Officers found 8 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia in William’s possession and 1.7 grams of meth in Henson’s possession. 

The men were taken to the Craighead County Detention Center to await a probable cause hearing.

Williams is expected to be charged with possession of methamphetamine with a purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Henson is expected to be charged with possession of methamphetamine. 

Judge Keith Blackman set a temporary bond of $200,000 for Williams, who at the time of his arrest was free on two bonds set in January after Williams was arrested in two separate meth-related cases. 

Judge Blackman set a $25,000 bond for Henson.
