Modern Woodmen chapter donates $400 to Poplar Bluff school

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KAIT) -

Modern Woodman chapter 1472 made a beneficial donation to Poplar Bluff Junior High School's campus beautification project.

According to a news release from the school, the chapter donated $400 to the school, which was used to plant a string of crepe myrtles along the median of a new parking lot.  

Lukescaping provided the landscaping services for the project.  

 Modern Woodmen has supported the R-I school district through service projects previously, including purchasing playground equipment for Eugene Field Elementary, according to district manager Brandon Woolard.
