BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

MONDAY, JULY 25, UPDATE: District Court Judge Donald Betterton found probable cause to charge a woman with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of a Blytheville man.

Veronica Hodges, 41, was arraigned via closed circuit TV in Osceola District Court in the stabbing death of 55-year-old Victor Beaugard.

Betterton set her bond at $250,000 cash-only and ordered Hodges to appear in circuit court on Aug. 31.

The Blytheville Police Department is reportedly working the domestic stabbing death of 55-year-old Victor Beaugard.

According to police, 41-year-old Veronica Hodges called the police department at 1:10 a.m and said the victim threatened to burn her house, located on the 3000 block of 239 spur.
