JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro’s Zach Williams made it onto Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart this week.

His new single Chain Breaker made the list at number 25. It moved up from number 28 last week.

Region 8 News featured Williams when he was working on the song in Nashville.

The Jonesboro man said he wasn’t into Christian music to begin with; he was in a rock band.

Then he heard a Christian song while on tour and it changed his life.

"I feel like that was the moment I decided to change,” Williams said. “The rest of the week I wasn't perfect, but I knew when I got home I had to make some serious changes. I came home and asked my wife and family to forgive me, I fell on the floor and prayed and that was it. Never looked back."

Williams is the worship leader for Central Baptist Church’s Refuge Campus.
