Train car catches fire in Newport

NEWPORT, AR (KAIT) - The Newport Fire Department worked a coal fire on Sunday.

According to the fire department, one engine responded to the fire which happened in a train car.

Train car caught fire on the Union Pacific train track on Front Street at around 5:50 p.m.

No one was injured in the fire, and only minor damaged was caused.
