JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Two days after a Jonesboro cemetery put a sign on their property asking people to stop playing Pokémon Go there, the sign was stolen.

The Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery placed the sign at the entrance to the cemetery on Friday.

It read "Restricted area. No gameplay allowed on premises."

"We understand the appeal, however, we are receiving complaints from family & friends whose loved ones are laid to rest here," the cemetery posted on their Facebook page.

By Monday, that sign was stolen.

Though the sign is now gone, the cemetery is still asking people to respect the grounds and stop playing the game on their property.

The cemetery stated they also contacted the app developer and requested that their location be removed from the game map.
