PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - The Paragould Police Department needs your help identifying two people accused of passing fraudulent checks at area businesses.
Lt. Ken Jackson said the couple passed fake Supplemental Security Income checks at two businesses.
According to the Social Security Administration, SSI checks are designed to "help aged, blind, and disabled people, who have little or no income."
The checks provide cash to meet basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter.
The couple was captured on surveillance video at Hays Plaza.
If you can help police identify them, contact Jackson at (870) 236-2910.
