One person taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Craighead County.

According to the Craighead County Sheriff's Department, a Chevy Blazer was heading north on Rogers Chapel Road around noon Thursday when the driver attempted to turn left onto Craighead County Road 910.

The driver reportedly turned into the path of a GMC Terrain, which was headed south on the same road.

A collision occurred and the Blazer ended up on its side.

The driver of the GMC was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the Chevy was treated at the scene for an arm injury.

Traffic was stalled in the area for about an hour.
