Lt. gov. to attend grand opening of tactical training facility

MELBOURNE, AR (KAIT) -

A new firearm and training facility is coming to Izard County.

Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin will be in attendance for the grand opening of the U.S. Tactical Systems Firearms & Training Facility in Melbourne on Saturday, July 30.

The grand opening includes demonstrations, a tour of the facility, information on memberships, and free barbecue.

There will also be a firework show that night with door prizes and a firearm raffle available to those in attendance.

U.S. Tactical Systems Firearms & Training Facility is located at 2519 Arkansas Highway 9 in Melbourne.
