Jonesboro police search for suspect in stolen vehicle

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are searching for a suspect who busted a business’s window out and left in a stolen car.

According to the incident report, the theft happened at Church Street Auto Sales, 417 North Church Street.

The business owner told police the thief broke into the shop either late Thursday night or early Friday morning and took keys to a blue Chevrolet Impala.

The car was parked by the road when the suspect left in it.

The owner said he left his debit card in the stolen car.

Police say the car had dealer tags with the business’ name on it and the plate number M8456.

Anyone with information about this theft is urged to call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP (7867).
