KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - A teen lead Kennett police on a foot chase after they arrived at a home with reported property damage.
Around 9 a.m. Sunday officers were dispatched to the 800-block of Providence.
When officials arrived, they saw the suspect run away.
The Kennett Police Department's Facebook page stated 17-year-old Miguel Limas ran across Highway 412 and continued to run between houses.
Limas ended up in the Parr's Trailer Court area where he tried to hop in a van on the passenger side; however, police stopped the vehicle before it could leave.
After a brief struggle, police arrested Limas.
Captain Tim Trowbridge told Region 8 News Limas reportedly damaged a vehicle.
Trowbridge also said Limas was arrested a week prior for the same offense and at the same location.
Limas is being held at the Dunklin County Justice Center awaiting formal charges of property damage and resisting arrest.
