Man critically injured in ATV crash

CLAY COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro man was injured in an ATV crash in Clay County Saturday.

According to Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller, dispatch got the report of a four-wheeler crash on County Road 181 and 141 around 10:50 p.m.

Deputies along with the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Ambulance Service, Corning first responders, Corning police and Arkansas State Police Troopers responded.

Jay Tate, 25, was driving the ATV and received multiple injuries in the crash.

He was taken by AMMC ambulance to Corning Ball Complex and was then taken by Air-Evac to Regional One Health in Memphis.

According to Sheriff Miller, Tate was in critical but stable condition at last check.

The sheriff's department is investigating the crash. The press release did not state how the wreck happened.
