RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - The Arkansas Department of Health announced Monday it officially released the boil water notice issued for the Reyno water system.
Bacteriological samples taken returned "safe" with a "satisfactory disinfectant level," according to a release from the city hall.
As a result, the boil water notice issued on Tuesday, Aug. 2, was lifted.
City officials said the Arkansas Department of Health issued the boil water advisory due to "complete pressure loss," according to a post on the city's Facebook page.
A lightning strike at the water plant reportedly caused the problem.
