KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - Kennett Mayor Bob Hancock said police are investigating continuous acts of vandalism in the city.

Hancock said barriers between the road and walking trail on Frisco and Compress roads are being destroyed.

He said several have been damaged and it is costing the city a lot of money to replace them.

The Kennett Police Department needs the community's help in identifying the suspect.

They are offering a $500 reward to anyone with information leading to an arrest.

Hancock added that the areas are under surveillance watch.
