Jonesboro police at full staff with latest officers sworn in

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Police Department will be at full staff after its latest hires were sworn in Monday.

JPD's Public Information Specialist Paul Holmes said Craighead County District Court Judge Keith Blackman administered the oath of office to the new officers.

Among them are Tanner Huff, Colton Brown and Matthew McDaniel.

Holmes said that completes the amount of officers the department is authorized to have sworn in.

The three officers began three weeks of in-house training Monday.

After that, they take the 12-week Basic Police Training Course at the Law Enforcement Training Academy at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas.
