Missouri woman killed after truck overturns

TEXAS COUNTY, MO (KAIT) -

A Howell County woman was killed in a Thursday afternoon crash.

It happened in Texas County, seven miles north of Willow Springs at 2:45 p.m.

Lisa A. Roberts, 49, of Willow Springs was riding in a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck at the time of the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

MSHP states the truck, driven by Jodi Miller of Willow Springs, went off the right side of the road and overcorrected. It then went off the left side of the road and overturned.

Roberts was partially thrown from the truck.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to MSHP.

Miller was not listed as being injured in the report.

Roberts was not wearing a seat belt while Miller was, MSHP states in their report.
