MAMMOTH SPRING, AR (KAIT) -

FNBC Bank will sponsor the 2nd Annual Ozarka College Sprint at the Spring 5K.  

The Ozarka College Foundation will host the 5K run/walk on Saturday, September 3. 

According to a news release from the college, the race will start at 7:30 a.m. in the Mammoth Spring State Park.  

All proceeds from the race will benefit Ozarka College- Mammoth Spring.  

 “We greatly appreciate all of the support we received at last year’s first annual 5K, and we’re working really hard to make this year’s event even better,” said the director of Ozarka College – Mammoth Spring James Spurlock. “One major change we have made is modifying and improving the race route. The safety of our runners is of utmost importance, and we want to keep their PR goals in mind as well.”

The fee for early registration is $20, and registration is $25 on the day of the race.  

People of all skill levels are welcome to participate.

According to the news release, prizes will be given to the overall top male and female finishers and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age/gender category. 

Registration for the race is available in person at Ozarka College-Mammoth Spring or online at https://runsignup.com/Race/AR/MammothSpring/OzarkaCollegeMammothSpring5k.
