JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police arrested a man after they say a bag he was carrying fell and revealed drugs inside.
The incident happened in the 900-block of Magnolia Road Monday just after 1 p.m.
According to a police report, an officer was dispatched to the location after reports of a possibly intoxicated subject.
The officer arrived and reportedly found 38-year-old Justin Hall sweating heavily and unstable on his feet.
Hall was carrying a bag at the time and as he placed the bag on the hood of the officer's car to grab his ID, the bag fell, revealing several Xanax pills, multiple bags of methamphetamine, multiple bags of marijuana, a glass pipe and digital scales, the report stated.
The officer arrested Hall and took him the Craighead County Detention Center. Hall, a parolee on active supervision, is charged with possession of drugs and a violation of parole.
