JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

If you are looking for a new hobby or activity for your child, there are a variety of opportunities in Jonesboro.

The Foundation of Arts in Jonesboro is gearing up for fall classes.

Elea Pulliam appeared on Midday Wednesday to discuss fall registration and open house.

Open house is Thursday, Aug. 11, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Arts Center.

“The Arts Center is downtown,” Pulliam said. “It faces Main Street. Any student that registers at the open house will receive 20 percent off their tuition, if they are a new student.”

At the open house you can learn more about what classes the foundation offers.

“We are actually adding a lot of classes to our repertoire this fall,” Pulliam said. “We are offering a costume design class. We have adult tap, which we’ve offered before. We are offering adult performance classes. We even have a class that is preparing pieces to take to Disney World.”

Pulliam said there are classes available for kids as young as 3 and adults of all ages.

If you can’t make it to the open house, you can register by phone at 870-935-2726 or in person.
