MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Three people were killed in a crash south of Blytheville Wednesday, according to Arkansas State Police.
The crash involved a semi-truck and a car.
According to Arkansas State Police Sergeant Tony Austin, the Knight sanitation truck was southbound on Highway 61 when the driver lost control and crossed the center line.
The truck overturned and pinned a small passenger vehicle.
The occupants of the vehicle were killed in the crash.
The driver was identified as 76-year-old Robert Davis of Blytheville.
The passengers were 63-year-old Della Stringer and 29-year-old Trestan Johnson.
The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department tweeted Highway 61 south of Blytheville is closed due to an accident just before noon Wednesday.
A viewer tweeted photos showing the truck overturned onto a car.
