RAVENDEN, AR (KAIT) -

Two firefighters lost their home in a fire Thursday afternoon.

According to Dave Lawrence with the Ravenden Fire Department, crews were called out to 646 Lawrence County Road 131 Thursday afternoon. When firefighters arrived, the home was in flames.

A neighbor saw smoke billowing from the home and called 911. No one was at the home at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.

However, the owners of the home are both firefighters.

The fire destroyed the home and it took nearly two hours for firefighters to get control of the blaze.

Lawrence said an account has been set up at Citizen’s Bank to help the family of Bruce Hill.
