BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Blytheville police hope the public can help them find five people suspected of robbing a fast food restaurant at gunpoint.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday officers responded to an armed robbery call at Wendy’s, 1010 E. Hollywood.

Employees said five black men, wearing bandanas and armed with a firearm, entered the restaurant and demanded money from the cash registers.

The suspects, according to a report from Captain Scott Adams, then forced the manager to open the safe before running out of the store.

Adams said the suspects ran to Skateland, 301 N. Lockard, where they attempted but failed to get inside.

Police have obtained warrants and are searching for the suspects.

Anyone with information that will help them should call the Blytheville Police Department at 870-763-4411.
