BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KAIT) -

The Butler County Sheriff Department is warning residents of dangerous roads.

There were two water rescues in the county Monday.

The road on Highway W where one of the rescues happened is impassable.

The sheriff says a woman attempted to pass through a road, but her car was swept under water.

The woman had to escape the car but is okay

One man says he currently has no way home due to the flooding.

"Not sure when I can get home. No idea,” said Ethan Glick.

The second water rescue was on Highway 158 near Cane Creek.

The sheriff’s department rescued a couple after water covered the roadway.
