JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Criminals got their hands on at least two guns after they found them in unlocked cars late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Three people living in the 4200-4300 block of Lynnfield Road called Jonesboro police Wednesday morning after they woke to find their cars rummaged through.

Two people reported they had guns stolen from their cars. One person reported a prescription of Prozac missing.

Three miles away in the Sage Meadows subdivision, another three unlocked cars were rummaged through.

One victim told police that her $1,500 pancreas medicine was stolen out of her car.

Another victim stated that it appeared someone stole a $100 pair of binoculars out of their vehicle.

Officer Royce Smith stated in his police report that a break-in on New Pond Hill Drive Road "could be linked to several other breaking or entering reports in the general area last night."

Always bring personal items into your home overnight and lock your vehicle to avoid becoming an easy victim.
