Searcy man injured in deadly collision

WHITE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

One Arkansas man died and another was injured in a collision Wednesday night.

According to Arkansas State Police, Gregory K. Pabst, 53, of Cabot, was heading west on Highway 64 in White County.

Shortly before 8 p.m., Pabst’s car went into the eastbound lane and struck an oncoming car's front bumper, ASP stated in the crash report.

Pabst died in the crash.

Cody J. Garretson, 27, of Searcy, was in the other car.

Crews took Garretson to a North Little Rock hospital to be treated for undisclosed injuries.
