Robbery suspect turns himself over to police

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - After over a week of searching for a robbery suspect, police say the man turned himself over to the department.

Capt. Scott Adams with the Blytheville Police Department states officers were looking for 19-year-old Raymond Johnson.

Johnson was wanted in connection to an aggravated robbery at a Gary's Food Mart in Blytheville on Aug. 5.

Adams states Johnson surrendered to detectives on Wednesday morning.

Johnson was arraigned on Thursday in Blytheville District Court.

A judge found probable cause and set Johnson's bond at $125,000, according to Adams.

He will appear in circuit court on Sept. 29.
