West Memphis woman convicted of Medicaid fraud

WEST MEMPHIS, AR (KAIT) - A West Memphis woman was convicted of Medicaid fraud according to a release from Attorney General Leslie Rutledge.

Andrea Jefferson pleaded guilty to the charge in Pulaski County District Court.

Jefferson was accused of billing the Arkansas Medicaid Program for services that were not given.

She must pay $470 in restitution to the Arkansas Medicaid Program Trust Fund and $1,470 in fines and court costs.
