Man accused of flashing people at hospital

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a man after they say he performed a lewd act in the lobby of a Jonesboro hospital.

Derrick Deuntae Robinson, 28, is charged with disorderly conduct/in public exposes their private parts.

According to the initial incident report, Robinson was standing outside the emergency room entrance of NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, 4800 E. Johnson, early Friday morning fondling himself in front of several people.

One woman told police Robinson "began to fondle himself in a lewd fashion while maintaining eye contact with her."

When Officer Adam Hampton asked Robinson if he had been "playing" with himself, Robinson replied, "It wasn't really like that."

Hampton asked again and Robinson then reportedly responded, "Well, yeah, it sorta is."

Hampton arrested Robinson and took him to the Craighead County Detention Center.
