JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are searching for several men suspected in a late night home invasion.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 1100-block of Turner Street.

One of the victims said he was in the kitchen when a “stocky” black man kicked in his front door and pointed a shotgun at him then told him to get on the ground.

Instead of complying with the suspected burglar’s demands, the victim ran into his bedroom and barricaded the door.

The victim’s roommate, who was in his bedroom at the time, reported hearing a “loud noise” from the living room and came out to see what was happening. When he saw the armed man, the second victim ran into the bathroom and locked himself in before calling 911.

Neighbors told police they saw three black males running north and saw another black male “burst” out of the victims’ front door and follow the other suspects. They described all of the suspects as wearing dark clothing with hoods.

The victims described the armed suspect as being 17-22 years of age, 6’ tall and weighing approximately 250 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and pants, with a red beanie and gray bandana.
