HARRISBURG, AR (KAIT) -

A Region 8 fair kicks off with more attractions.

As Region 8 News reported in July, the fair board is working to bring more attractions to the fair to gain more attendance. New features include a hot dog eating contest, talent contest, gospel night, and games for the kids.

Livestock judging is Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m. with rabbits and poultry.

Cows, goats, swine, and sheep judging will be Friday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m.

The talent show is set for Thursday evening.
