Police investigate man shot at in home

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police are searching for several suspects involved in a neighborhood shooting from the weekend.

According to a press release, officers responded to a home in the area of Moultrie and McDaniel Street at around 1:33 a.m. Friday in reference to a man being shot at.

When officers arrived they found multiple people in the street.

A man told police that five men kicked in his front door and accused him of breaking into a home.

When the victim denied it, one of the men reportedly shot at him.

Police did see a shoe print on the front door and found other evidence consistent with the victim's statement, according to the release from Captain Scott Adams.

The suspects then left the house and confronted people outside about the break-in.
